Away from the tarn there's the outlet , a small beck that flows through some very boggy ground. It was in shade the day I was here and you can see the wonderful patch of golden light that fell across the tarn and surrounding hills in the distance. It was also extremely windy as is evident by the blurred grasses in the foreground .....I had to literally hang on to my tripod !!!!
