I was hoping for a little better light this morning but was let down.... again. Decided to post this one after processing levels and curves giving the contrast a boost. Tried turning it to mono to no avail.
Viewing large is bleaker!

Great moody shot, I would be tempted to crop out the top 3/4" to balance the composition, but it is a very compelling image!
A seascape to form a backdrop for a wagnerian opera, hugely dramatic and far better than any sunrise over the rocks at Newbiggin, this deserves the largest print you can afford. A rare gift of nature you have here Dave, so very well captured.
Dougie
Many thanks for the C&Cs everyone. A special one to Dougie for the kind words. Newbiggin may not be in the top ten of the most photographed locations in the world but I just love coming down here enjoying the beauty there is on offer. Nine times out of ten I find myself alone feeling privilaged witnessing the dfferent conditions each day brings.
Rgds... Dave
