I built a sound detecting circuit witch I connected to a microcontroller(programmed it myself) that is connected to a SCR that is triggering my flash.

So basically I have a small box with 3 buttons to change sensitivity and delay (and function) and a 16x2 serial LCD for interface and debugging. The box has output for a microphone and my flash hot-shoe.

When it detects a sound greater than the set sensitivity, it waits the delay time I have adjusted and then flashes the flash.

Fun and interesting project.

What do you think?

Wow, Wow, Wow, this is brilliant, even before the electronics part is considered. Sound opens a whole new set ideas.
