Always a productive day when I go to see my friend and Hairdresser Pamela on a sunny day. Monday St. Patrick's Day was no exception . After taking the shot of Toni-Louise , I wandered round her M-i-Laws garden . Spring is very special . Saw this Forsythia outlined against the sky . Hope you enjoy . xx

Thank you all for your comments.

No wonder Pascal took a shine to it Lucy . Such a bright burst of Gold for about 3 weeks and then the long dull days of a bush with green lleaves all Summer . The trick is to grow a Clematis through it . xx

The first buds have just opened on mine, the garden starts to look a bit spring-like. Lovely energetic, positive image.

How lucky to have forsythia in bloom....I haven't even seen a sprig it is still covered by a snow bank. I am enjoying your spring vicariously.

Beautiful colours..and detail Mavis..

Both the black and the blue background work well with these bright flowers.
