Spears of green grass burst through the fractured contours of an icy puddle in a car park high on Rannoch moor. Despite it being a fabulous blue sky day and surrounded by amazing scenery I found myself both diverted and captivated by this intimate wee study. Never-the-less I must have looked pretty strange grovelling around on all fours tripod set up between the two tyres of some badly parked cars that had inadvertently caused the cracks in the iced puddle.

I like it, think it's the light on the grass.
Darren.
Beautiful image Ian. The bright green of the grass contrasts well against the striped ice.
