Cyanocitta cristata 12 inches ( 30 cm)

It seems that our wood pile is buried with snow just now, so here is one perching on the feeder!

Ah . .Jenn, this is beautiful. You have captured the essence of the jay in his stately pose and the color and detail are supreme. These seem to be startled so easily, I have not been able to get a good one although I keep trying. May I ask the shutter speed and ISO you used to capture this magnificient bird? Patti
