This large cricket was difficult to spot in the dried grass, but the unusual colouring on the top of his head and neck caught my eye.

A rather strange looking cricket compared to the more usual 'designs': but wonderfully captured in very fine detail here in this set, Carol.
That colouring is interesting as are the somewhat bulbous eyes.
Difficult to choose a winner but perhaps I'm most drawn to V 2.

What an unusual looking cricket Carol, the detail is awesome. It's finally stopped raining here but it is dull and miserable now, so much for summer! lol
