As a non bird expert ( of the feathered kind ) I think this is captured well in a natural surorunding the exposure grand for the white of the snow, and a good detail and colour captured. I may have been tempted however to crop a bit of the top and rhs, as per the mod

I pm your other half earlier ! How strange Smile Colin

Nice shot with excellent control of depth of field. A slight crop would help as already suggested.

This is a fantastic looking image, the detail and colour is excellent. I think this shot benifits from a bar crop as seen in my MOD. Hope this helps with future shots.

An attractive subject, well exposed and with good depth of field. The falling snow in the background is a great touch that adds a lot of character to the photo. I think the tighter crops of the mods are an improvement, as the rather extensive perch competes a little for attention.

It isn't very sharp, though. Without knowing the camera settings one can't be sure why (please do post them when asking for critique!) but, since it's not especially sharp anywhere along the length of the branch, I'm going to suggest camera shake rather than focusing too close or too far.

Nice image, but could do with a crop to make the bird a little more dominant in the frame
Also a slight tweak of the Saturation and Contrast/Brightness controls would give the colours a lift!

I've uploaded a fun mod. As well as heavily cropping, I made some adjustments, reversed the image, altered the branch angle, and cheated by putting a catch light in its eye!
Remember its just as an exercise! Thanks for letting me play with it!
