Yesterday's upload surprised me as I thought it lacking in lustre yet most of you preferred the original to my painted version. So thank you whatever your comment for votes for Tarbet at Dawn.
Today I'll make Bluebells V1 the original and add my watercolour Version second!

Few more months and we'll be back to this season: I am wondering where you took this.......could almost be the field by Pollok House in PCP.
This time I like both versions equally, Kate.
And a very nicely composed image it is.
Bet the scent there was glorious.
Ronnie.

A very nice bluebell track. V2 could have been better if you had preserved the shadows before using Topaz Simplify.
Well done. WesternRed.

Can't choose between the two this time, Kate, each has its own merits. A sight for sore eyes, though, and hopefully they will soon be showing their faces to the new year. Carol

The original is a lovely view and taste of things to come, and I like the paint effect of v2. Nothing to chose between them really.

You have done a really fine job on this one. I must admit today that I really prefer v2. The bluebells and springtime just lend themselves to watercolor.

I love both versions Kate, the natural one is a real joy to view but the painterly one stands out for me and was an inspired choice for conversion
