I thought I'd have a play with this photo and introduce some sunlight through the trees as I don't have anything else to up-load at the moment.

Very well worked image, I meant to do this this spring in our local woodland - oh well just another 7-8 months to go.

foe feedback it looks just a fraction overexposed as some detail is lost in the bluebells (I appreciate how hard it is to get exposure). Also the light rays don't quite look right, although I may be wrong.

But certainly worth a plus vote (besides I dont like voting down)

How can I improve the light rays Nick? What is it that doesn't look right?

I wanted this to have a light and airy feel to it but I may have overdone the exposure. I think I''ll do an HDR effect to tame the dynamic range on this shot next time. Thanks for your honest opinion.

Thanks to everyone whose commented, voted or just had a look.

Alan.

Hi Alan, fantastic panaramic image showing light and shadow effects. I too feel its slightly over exposed but overall its pleasing. A.K

Excellent editing and the over-exposure works well to make the sunlight look brighter. The rays look very good, to me, though I worry that they have the sun a bit low in the sky, where it feels like there'd be too many treetrunks blocking it.
