Hi c40uk i edit in light room with selective brushes. first i turn the image B&W and then use the brush tool to bring back color in selective places. i'm sure if you search on Google or u tube then you will find a tutorial on color popping.

Hi C40Uk you could try the GIMP it is free and has similar functions to photoshop or you could try Photoshop elements. good luck regards Airfreq
