I remember your coloured version from the other day, and I have to say that it's the coloured version that appeals to me the more.
Ronnie.

RX410? I've just had a trip down Memory Lane checking out how many times I've photographed this one. I need to go back, I'm suffering from Dungie deprivation...

You have photographed what is there very well although I might be inclined to lose half the beach.

I love the b/w version here as it takes you back in time, Cliff!
The detail contained here is excellent.
I do tend to agree with danbrann about cropping some of the beach and, maybe a little bit of the RHS!
Regards,
Richard

A very difficult task to convert the colour version to mono. The lighting and blue of the sky do favour the colour image.Smile

The conversion works well with so many tones and textures - even a hin tof grain or noise in the sky which adds to the overall effect.
I too would crop some of the bottom.

Personally I think your crop here is spot-on, and divides the space very satisfyingly. The only thing I would suggest is a bit of a contrast boost, just to lift things a bit.

Alan
