Taken about ½ hour before my previous upload, showing the Boathouse from the opposite side of the lake. I have to confess that it didn't look like this and there was too much water in the foreground doing nothing for the composition, so tried a bit of digital jiggery-pokery to get a reflection of the Boathouse and the trees behind. V2 is the original in which I'd cropped off most of the uninteresting foreground water. And yes, the moon really was there just above the trees, not added in afterwards! Wink

Techie stuff: see Exif
Single Raw image processed in Adobe Camera Raw, tweaked in Photomatix Pro and Elements 6

Thanks again to everyone for your votes & comments on my previous uploads, it really is appreciated and encouraging.

Two wonderful compositions and presentations, Trev, is it tilting just a fraction to the left, though? Caqrol

No Carol, it's not tilting! It was shot at an angle, not straight on Smile

Your "jiggery-pokery" as Lynne describes it, really has produced a top class image. Super work.

You had me fooled too until I read your resume up top, Trev: clever bit of manipulation with a realistic result.

An exceptional good example of 'faux photography' which has bee ever so well done. A credit to both imagination and digital mastery.

"Jiggery-Pokery" wins hands down for me Trev, must admit I thought it was the moon that had been added not the reflections until I read your info Wink

That's a very convincing reflection. But I'll admit that it was the moon that caught my eye first, and I'm so glad that it's real!

Excellent work, Trev, I don't think anyone would have spotted the manipulation.
