Taken in Dubai while on holiday, I was having a wander with my camera when one of the builders stopped me and asked if I would take his picture, which I was pleased to do. He was really friendly and he actually thanked me so I hope he would be pleased with the result. I have tried to break a few rules and frame him in landscape and just position him slightly off centre. The background was like a mesh that they put up to stop any debris falling out and I think the slight patern it makes acts like a filter. I couldn`t understand his real name so I`ve called him Bob!

A wonderfully captured expression on the very obliging builders face. The monochrome is so very wonderfully processed.
