Morning everyone !
Many thanks for your comments on FLOWERS & LACE, most appreciated.
It was such a wonderful summers' day yesterday, so we thought we would take a walk in the park - definately no good for photography as it was far too bright. But saw these two people sitting on a bench, and could'nt resist taking a shot of them. The image tells such a story, a married couple - she's doing the crossword, he's reading the sports pages, both absorbed in their reading matter. Nonetheless, the body language sets them worlds apart.
Something a bit different anyway - hope you like it !

Marital harmony, as the English do it. Haven't seen a knotted hankerchief in years - this is superb social commentary.

What a terrific candid, such a classic portrait of marital bliss several years down the road! The newspapers got it so right when they started producing the heavy weekend editions in several sections - or did they? - years ago they'd have been doing the crossword together!
