Morning everyong - Well good night really !
Thanks everyone for all your comments & votes on PERFECT STORM, really very much appreciated, glad It did'nt flop for reasons explained !!!
Well, I think Friday 13th came a day late for us, after I up-loaded the PERFECT STORM my computer died on me ! John got a new graphics card, and then all seemed to be well, then the monitor packed in - think there must have been a power surge that cooked the lot. So spent the day setting up an older back-up computer. Hope I caught up with everyone and did'nt miss anyone out - will double check tomorrow.
Well it was a terrible day weather wise, as it was for most of the country, but around 4.00pm it stopped raining and the clouds started to break - So grabbed the camera and rushed down to the coast ! Am I gald we did, what a sight, I have never seen anything like it in my life. The promenade and roads were covered in thick white foam from the sea - it looked like we'd had about 10 inches of snow, the tide was full in and crashing against the rocks, I have never seen so much foam ! The sky was amazing for about five to ten mins, got loads of shots, which was'nt easy as the wind was so strong, I'm amazed I got any really, it was hard work trying to keep myself still, never mind the camera.
Had a quick look through the images and pulled one out to share with you today, hopefully will have more time tomorrow to pick out a few more for the next few days !
I'm still amazed at what I saw - it was a great experience - so glad I made the effort to get myself down there, even though I was worn out - so hence my early up-load for today, I'm so tired, I could well sleep in tomorrow.
Well - hope the weather has'nt been too bad for you all !
Hopefully a better day tomorrow before it all comes back (According to the forecast).
