Great aircraft shot, this works well because there are no background distractions (crowd, other aircraft etc..) and the prop and backgound are blurred as they should be. (Perhapse clone out the marking bottom left of shot though?).
With warbirds what you are looking for is an authentic shot. This is defineately one, but in my humble opinion you should either go for colour or black and white as opposed to an arty combination of both. A bit more room in front and/or behind the aircraft giving a more panoramic view could also work with a bit of tinkering in Photoshop.(The only other real critisism is the modern helmeted pilot, but theres nothing you can do about that!) Keep um coming. Rich

Excellent panning! You could have allowed a little more room in front of the plane for it to move into but the other good option is to fill the frame with the subject, which is exactly what you've done. There are a couple of distractions that you might want to clone out: the bright white object/marking in the bottom left and the triangular break in the trees right above the cockpit.
The colour popping isn't to my personal taste. It's an effect that I very rarely like, so you can probably discount this comment but, as I see it, the plane is already separated from the background by the panning so there's no need to separate it further by the use of colour.

Doesn't need to be played with - a generally excellent aircraft shot of an interesting type. After the Aussies got an awful thrashing from the Zeros with their Brewster Buffaloes they had to come up with something - this was a bit better.
Just one thing. Get the clone tool out and shift that white oblong, bottom left.
