Something entirely different.
I've been playing around in PS, utilising some of the things I have been taught in the Critique Gallery, with old photos [which should have been binned ages ago]
This is one. [the version 2 is the original]
Used the gradient tool, with colours previously I've not considered using.
The Burn & Dodge tool, selectively
Curves to lighten-highlight-darken-shadow.

The shot is, of itself nothing. Merely a conversion from the mundane [original] to something a little more interesting, which may inspire you to look at it twice Smile

Critique & constructive comments, as always, very welcome & much appreciated.

Well done Jack, it's quite an improvement, I of course must critic something so a little more sky and less at the bottom would have been an improvement.
All the best,
Phill

Good morning Phill.

You're priceless. Thank you.

At some point this week, I'm going to re-view your wine bottle & glass, & your glasses lessons, & have a go at both of them;
I promise that I won't post them, until they are as good as yours. Grin Wink
Which means, of course, that you may never get to see them
Jack

Frank, It's a pavement. Don't say anything Wink .......... I think his eyesight is going; it's old age [it comes to us all] GrinGrinGrin

Thank you Ian. So pleased you came on. GrinGrinGrinGrin Tongue

I'll try. I don't have a clue where to start. If I can't find a ducks face of the right proportions, I'll go and shoot one.
One word of advice. I wouldn't hold your breath, if I were you. Your face could go a very funny colour.

I'll be back GrinGrin

no body! someone's eaten the Magret

He was called Donald, Phill, not Margaret !!!

I'm saving the torso for Ian's next challenge Tongue Smile
It's a good job Bren is at school. He'd shred me to pieces for this. And Pamela would never speak to me again
I can, of course, blame it all on Ian

There are some quackers people around today Ian.

You'll have heard of the Grumpy Group; well this is the Geriatric Group you inadvertently landed yourself in. GrinGrinGrinGrin
The only qualification necessary: the identifiable onset of dementia; though short-sightedness and an inability to clearly comprehend what others are talking about, is always a welcome attribute. Wink

What do you want me to do with the torso?

You had a good play with the border plants, Jack, it's all experimental and good for learning techniques.
When I found V3, I had a good chuckle, so will continue to speak to you Smile. But on a serious note, if you had moved the duck over to the right, and lower down, you could have got away with having no body.
Pamela.

Pamela, what a relief. You're a star. Only Bren to face now Smile Tongue

I've heard of a headless chicken crossing the road, why not place the headless duck in Grampy's sky?
Ian

Ian, have you seen the amount of damage [to human sanity] your little innocuous request has caused today? GrinGrinGrinGrin
Have you seen Bren's Mod? Smile GrinGrinTongue Grief. the indignity of it !!!!!!!
And he reckons I deserved it !!!!! And it's all your fault

How am I going to live this down? No-one will ever take me seriously again [I don't think they ever did, but that's not the point] They'll never let me be in charge of the Critique Team now SadSad

Just you wait 'til the next time you post something in CG SmileWink
