Four images ago she was shot .
Now assimilation is taking place.
This is great. Who's the model? She's fantastic. =)

Thanks , normal service has music resumed ! She is Alice incarnate .
No, I mean in the real world. =)
Before I saw your title I thought 'she is more Borg than the Borg' ! A marvellous creation - she is somehow sexy at the same time as being . . . well . . . assimilated.
She is the real world!
Sorry , she is Ness in the real world , a barmaid who Is my only model.
Bit shy to ask anyone else to pose.
We worked here on the story as well ! And that was the idea behind this transition.
Love the texture and the feel of the edges of her clothing and the background. See alot of sci-fi movie influences here. Excellent work, often fancied doing something like this myself, inspirational. My Alice could be in for a left handed makeover. Loads to learn from this. Or copy.
I think this has to be my photo of the week - love the story, feel, ....pretty much everything I think! This gets my user award....
Spot on work!
Dave this is an amazing look
its like an oil painting especially when viewed large,
its very different and unusual,
....original stuff is always a pleasure to view,
are they nails holding her shoulder together,?
This is just awesome Dave.....Jools
wow, you make a great team. She's a natural! And this is an amazing piece. I thought she was a professional model. =)
Thanks , thing is , its whats in the brain that I really wanted a landscape to see as well , its a large and dark thing .
Needles Paree , and Thanks so much Pauline x
Im just learning like everyone. Nite
So the story continues, I've missed it.
Amazing creative work she reminds me of a Greek Goddess somehow, worth getting shot maybe.
brilliant! i love how you've edited this image, making it dark a mysterious feel, nice effective piece of work here
Can you put it back on on Monday please Dave?
My brain is still chewing this one over
Have another UA in the meantime... deserves a stack of 'em!
I like this and your portfolio is like a story . very good , very different !
Beautifully manipulated. Looks so scary.
Yet another wonderful creation.
I like the look of innocence in her eye, the overall softness of the composition too but underneath lurks something siniser and dark!
Well done on the HC well deserved Dave.
happy to make it RC too
Congrats on all the awards! Well desereved!
God knows what your dreams are like! Fantastic work though Dave - a wonder creation - again.
Well done, I'll have to copy it now.
Rgds ... Dave
amazing work as always Dave
Darker than dark. The look of resigned reproach terrifies as the painted world of the canvas becomes a new reality where good thing just don't happen.
Congrats on the HC, it's good to see something this far out get noticed.
Fantastic piece of work Dave, well done on HC.
Not only is the PS work done superbly, knowing to some degree about the depths you have gone to, in order to achieve the right tonality in each aspect of the shot, but also, what a well angled and directed portrait you have taken to start with.
HORROR - ART
is it me or have you got a touch of redeye in there. You can get that out in PhotoShop I believe.
Sorry was knackered last night and work all day.
Great that you like this connection then , thats all it hoped to be so thanks everso specially Tim (Cirrus) and Pete.
Eric , thats a blood vessel I left in on purpose and Scara , you're a git
Not that eye Dave, it's the other one I was concerned about.
Superb work, very creative.
Oh , I see , thats her Borg eye , she took the cover off !
Your work gives me so many ideas Dave.
YES...DEF YES...CERTAINLY A YES...and YET another HC...VERY DESERVED....flawless in the way its put together..concept is not new but what is and its been re invented here....all in all a fair bit of work...laughs as usualy and goes for a .............bladder is not what it once was...hey come on somebody needs to be odd!
Congrats on the HC mate...spookily effective
resistance is futile
Alice x Just beautiful x
Cheers ! have to find her still.
Molliedog , your not odd , erm , and Phil , there was a bloke inspired me in the early days , did a picture called "Run like hell" amongst others , he was brilliant at all this layering malarkey , now what was his name
Quite different. Great work. Paul
Brilliant work - well done !
Wow, this is brilliant!!
Rembrandt lighting, photogenic piercing stare, i guess this is the last orders look with a Tarantino touch. Don't care about layers cos beauty always surfaces, Brilliant work.
Thank you , and Costas , indeed , who needs a thousand words , superb philosophy.
I seem to have missed a bit lately. This is splendidly dark &
Penny like most of your work requires a lot of looking
This is creeping me out mate.......brilliantly done though.
Cheers , good !
Sorry haven't been looking or posting lately , been getting over a major virus which also made me go deaf , and I cant create Jack without rhythm ! Slowly better, so off for a gander.
brilliant image .. whats the story behind this one?
Simply these lyrics by Snow Patrol , Inspired it.
"I've got this feeling that there's something that I missed
(I could do most anything to you...)
Don't you breathe
Something happened, that I never understood
You can't leave
Every second, dripping off my fingertips
Wage your war
Another soldier, says he's not afraid to die
Well I am scared
In slow motion, the blast is beautiful
Doors slam shut
A clock is ticking, but it's hidden far away
Safe and sound"
More amazing stuff Dave. I always thought the Borg were the best thing in Star Trek, terrifyingly invincible. The cold logic of the ant-hill.
Verily amazing Dave. I love your imagination and the way you manage to whack it on paper with such verve and commitment. Keep 'em coming. helen x
superb dave .. like it .. angie
Powerful editing! excellent, deserves every award even more...
hi ya Dave,
How's it going mate? it's been too long - fancy meeting up for a beer sometime?
! Ello mate , thats fate , I need the release codes , Damn right , Ill p.m you.
This is a stand out. I was drawn also to the Title, - working for a large corporation we small group of non conformists refer to the corporation as the Borg, and try to avoid assimilation, - but as they say, resistance is futile,- but fun.
I am simply blown away (and scared) by your portfolio. On a first viewing I can't process the words to describe the feelings that are invoked... Amazing stuff and will be following the story. Laurence2010
Love the textures and the colours and the stitching! Awesomely done!
