On this cold and snowy Saturday I have transported myself back to better times enjoyed in Borrowdale - perhaps not true shadows but what I hope is a nice shaded feel. Keep warm and enjoy the weekend. J.

How lovely! Really love the colours reflected in the river and the wonderful stonework of the bridge with its ferns. Horrid day here with snow doing dervish dances across the fields!

The beauty of Borrowdale, Joan, lovely texture on the bridge especially with the grass growing out of the gaps.

A fine shot of this old bridge from one of my favourite locations in The Lakes, Joan.
Bet it doesn't look anything like that today.
Ronnie.
