Hi everyone this image of Boscombe pier was taken last sunday. I used a Lee 10 stop filter and a .6 hard Lee filter for 263 seconds......hope you are all well
Such shots never get old. I like this.
Lovely photo, great restaurant nearby too... The Urban Reef.
Cracking image Jeremy! An almost surreal feel from the lamps and the Dr Zeuss-like stalks supporting the pier. The misty sea and sky provide a great backdrop allowing the shape of the pier to be shown up to great effect. The PoV gives a lot of depth from the lead in line of the pier and the receeding symmetry of the pillars. Brilliant
I like... Very much. Well composed and the toning is very nice Jeremy.
i like the streaks in the clouds, all nice detail too.
Cracking mono great use of the 10 stopper
I'm not a great fan of mono work. However this leapt out of the screen. The exposure on the sea provides a beautiful velvety effect and it contrasts well with the harsh lines of the concrete pier. Wish I could say it was one of mine
Thank you for all the kind comments and huge thanks to Mike for your UA it means a lot coming from such a well respected photographer
Stunning image indeed,love it,
Jeremy this is fantastic one that I aspire to being able to achieve. have you seen the work of Joel Tjintjelaar... he does some amazing stuff with Long Exposures. He has a FLIKR account and he gives most of his exif data... worth a look!
Well worth the early get up.... your dedication well & truly paid off Jeremy..fantastic..have another award for your trophy cabinet.
Very nice mono, excellent vantage point, DoF and exposure.
Alan and Gareth thank you soooooooo much for your UAs i'm on a real high now
Mark thank you for your kind words,Joels name was mentioned on one of Dereks pictures so i did check his website last week,he has some great tutorials,an amazing portfolio and hes very generous giving away his processing skills
Sterling work with just enough grey tones separating the brighter areas.
Great lead in with bridge receding into the distance.
A wonderful image ,one to be proud of
A good location which is perfect for LE and you've certainly done it justice Jeremy. Nice capture.
Stunning work on this one. The awards are well deserved!
