A similar upload to my last, this one carries more foreground interest, not sure which work's best, if any!!
I would appreciate your comments on this one, thanks for looking in.

Very nice shot, but I prefer (Boston by Night) Congratulations.
Allan
I thought the last one was a cracker.
This one is even better. Good to see other people think so too.
Simon
Wonderful! Great colour, depth, sharpness, clarity, exposure ....everything!!!
Rob

another fantastic shot, congratulations on the EC, well deserved

Think I said the last one was one of the best night time city shot I'd seen, Ed. This is almost as good but for me the posts in the water (which I don't remember in the earlier version) are a little distracting. But then what do I know - this has an EC, the other one doesn't!
Iain
Wow, this is definately the better photo - i couldn't praise it enough!
How on earth did I miss this Ed? Its all been said Sir...
Stunning work and so worthy of the 'EC' and the POTW.
Mike
O my god RC EC and now POTW how happy am I!!!!.
Thank you so much Pete.
And a huge thank you to all the folk on EPZ who have helped me get to this,
with your comments, critique, forum notes, & e-mails over the last 10 months.
Think I will go and crack a bottle of Vimto!! Or something like LOL.
Cheers Ed..
What a success story Ed...colours and exposure all come together to project a scene that would make a great poster. Well done.
Doug.
A spectacular shot with the sky and reflections, a well deserved award.

BTW... I'm studying this one VERY closely so I can try this out on my home town!

Stunning image to go with a truly wonderful portfolio nice one,John Click
Incredible. Just how did you expose this or is there a lot of PP....?
Well yes this is a stunning image but on a web site with such high standards of images I cannot believe how so many people have said the composition is brilliant and it is perfect yet virtually nobody has mentioned the composition of the posts in the water that end in such a fashion that they appear to be supporting the city buildings ... a slight change in position would have sorted this fundamental flaw easily ... but having said that - the image is very beautiful and although I have brought up this flaw (in my opinion), it is not intended to suggest that it should not be 'photo of the week' or receive any other acclaim because I LOVE the image apart from the posts - I just couldnt believe nobody was saying it already. Regards, Paul.
Thanks all so much for all of your positive feedback - it is much appreciated.
Just to reply to Paul above.....
Hi Paul
I appreciate your comments, but it was in fact impossible to move the tripod any further forward without taking a swim. I may be a keen photographer but even I draw the line at that! To come any further left would have lost the chain foreground which I feel is THE fundamental part of the picture. Any further right, and again I am in the drink! Finally, to come further back again the chain is lost as the "lead-in". Believe me I covered every angle! I realise obviously if you are not actually in my position, it may look easy to just move a couple of feet here and there.
Cheers.
Ed..
Hi Ed - yes I understand completely - my point wasn't with your ability to have taken a better position (although I suggested it knowing it may not have been possible), my point was that almost nobody was mentioning the position of the posts in conjunction with the buildings behind, which was not ideal, and when people say the composition is perfect I think it was reasonable to mention the posts. I still maintain it is a beautiful image and think it is a deserved POTW and I would love to have it in my portfolio - congratulations. Regards, Paul :0)
this is an excellent shot of city that I like a lot
the colour's are awsome this deserves all the praise that it has received
