Hi All

These dolphins were photographed on the Moray Firth last week. They come inshore as the tide comes in, together with seals, to feed on the salmon and trout.

To give you some idea how close they come to the shore I was stood on the beach and the zoom on my lens was set to 130mm!

They put on an amazing show for several hours. Of all the sights we saw in our 3 week tour of bonny Scotland these were probably worth the 1,700 mile round trip on their own. Grin

Off out now to take some more pics on what looks like probably the only sunny day we will get in July.

Thank you all for your ongoing observation and comment especially 'Growmore' for his UA yesterday.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Gerry

Two wonderful action shots, I can't believe these have received so few votes as I thought dolphins were popular with most folksSad
