First of all, I would particularly like to thank you for taking the time & trouble to view my uploads (especially the time!) with EPZ beings sooo slowww at present.
Looking to the left of The Radcliffe Camera is Brasenose College which gets its name from a wonderfully silly story. The school is named for the bronze nose (brazen nose) of a beast on a door knocker that once graced the door of Brazen Nose Hall, a building that predated the foundation of the college by several hundred years. The original door knocker, which was stolen during riots in 1334 and was missing for more than 500 years, is now in the college dining hall.

Thanks again to everyone for your votes & comments on my previous uploads, it really is appreciated and encouraging.

Your processing shows off the beautiful stone of this lovely old building to perfection and, of course, the inclusion of a bike is the icing on the proverbial cake Smile. Very interesting write up, Trev.

You're right about the speed issue...hope this gets over soon!
The photo is marvelous, as is the history. The HDR looks quite natural, which is how I prefer it. You used it with a delicate hand.

Another wonderful image Trev - great processing too !

Excellent Trev; love your tones and details as ever and do think the snow adds a nice touch as it outlines the roof and crenellations

I had heard of the name but had no idea how it came about, so thanks for that too, Trev" as always, your shot is captured so well and here I do like the bike parked by the railing. I don't know how you manage to get your shots so pedestrian free.....I would have expected the area to be seething with students, unless of course this was still during the holiday period. Even so!
Ronnie.

That photogenic bike against the railings really is so right. Someone was very nice to you there. But full marks for spotting its potential - lovely composition.
