"Bridge to Nowhere"
Yes, that's what it's called. The plan was to build a road from Port Geiraha all the way to Ness in the North of the Island. They built the bridge but never completed the road.

A potentially pleasing capture with a range of colours, albeit that the bridge is rather too central and the sky is featureless. The main point though is that it is not clear from the photo that it is a bridge to nowhere - for all we know there could be a road either side of it. A drastic change in shooting position would be needed to show that the bridge is unaccompanied by road.
Getting on the technical aspects, I have uploaded a mod for you in which I have increased contrast by means of a curves adjustment, used the clouds filter in PS on the sky and sharpened. I hope that is of some used/.interest.

The bland sky problem could have been got round by using a grad (Neutral density graduated) filter at the time of shooting to darken the sky relative to the land. After the event, there is actually some detail still remaining in the sky - I've done a very quick mod to illustrate that. On a duplicate layer I selected the sky only then used the histogram tool (or levels) to stretch out the end points of the histogram and ofrce out the detail.
I've also removed a slight blue colour cast, and used the dodge and burn brushes to selectively lightn and darken different areas.
Compositionally, usually I'd say the bridge looks too central and static in the frame - but in this case maybe that fits the brief of a bridge going nowhere...
