Love the caption Jayne, you have to be at an age that you associate this with that classic film.
This capture has nice lead in lines, it is quite hard to go with the ROT because of the clock, if this was on a third the composition would not be so effective, a couple of tips! If you can use a tripod, with your camera a light one would do, it will slow you down and make you think, second a simple spirit level to ensure the camera is level, the photo is off slightly, third before pressing the shutter button take a second look through the viewfinder and see if there is any thing that should not be there Eg: wall lights and sign! appart from a few times most people have loads of time for setting up the perfect capture.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Trev.
Hi Trev, fabulous feedback many thanks, I will certainly take it all on board and give it a go. I'm not quite at the age that associates me with this classic film but do love the old films best. I do tend to rush things a bit so this bit of your feedback to slow things down and take a second look is very important to me, and I will def do this next photography trip. Many thanks Trev regards Jayne.
