This beautiful bird was tucked in a gap in the roof and if it wasn't for looking up i wouldn't have seen it

Excellent shot of this "Lilac breasted roller bird"
I'm a regular visitor to Chester zoo and I have photographed this beautiful bird many times but rarely as good as this.
I've been toying with buying a superzoom bridge camera for some time.
..your shots with the Coolpix P510 may have convinced me.

Thankyou so very much for comments mike. It was my first visit to the zoo and not a good day weather wise so didn't get to see all the animals, sadly. Maybe try another visit when the weathers better.
I love my coolpix although hope one day to have a Dslr
