I now know why sheep need such thick wool!

Thank you Les for the GEC on my last upload.

Superbly desolate - the miserable-looking sheep add so much to the scene.

Nicely balanced composition Yung. The sombre tones evoke the cold.

A beautifully balanced composition, Yung, encapsulating everything about winter in the countryside. The sheep are so well placed in the frame and I do like the one peeping out from behind the trunk.

Sums up our winter weather nicely, Yung! People think sheep are dim. They manage to live outdoors in horrid conditions, something we humans couldn't!

This is wonderful, Yung. For some reason I feel that three's company four's a crowd in this though. Clone out any single sheep and it seem s to please my addled brain more. On balance the lower sheep might get cloned out if I ever got such a brilliant shot.

Now that you mentioned it Alun I think I will work better with the lower sheep clone out.

Thank you for all your comments.

I think this tops yesterdays Yung, excellent off centre composition with sheep. I agree with Alun re cloning out the lower sheep but only because the shape isn't quite right. I do like the one peeking out from behind the trunk.

A fantastic shot Yung. Love the minimal feel to the colour and the deceptively simple composition.

Alan.

As always, perfect. The simplicity is just right to covey the feeling of the cold and desolation. Ann
