Took a run up the coast a wee bit from Inverness where I got these scenes of Broad Cove. The weather was not the best for mid-July, cold, wet, misty and windy Sad certainly not the ideal conditions for swimming though my oldest daughter did, she's always been able to withstand the cold much better than most people.

Mant thanks for your kind response to 'Unknown Flower', very much appreciated, though on reflection I should have inserted 'to me' in the title as so many of you were able to identify it so easily as being an Evening Primrose.

A nice set of Coastal images, Jim, despite the indifferent summer weather: judging from the muted colouring and misty grey overcast, I doubt I'd I would have been tempted to have a dip either. Of these three, my favourite lies between V 2 and 3, with 2 just coming out on top.
Ronnie.

None of us seem to be having a great summer Jim. Very lovely views of the coast. But I would never have even dipped my big toe in that water - looks too cold Grin. Moira

What a beautiful coast! I really love the view in V2, Jim. And brrr...no way I would be swimming in that water!! Hats off to your daughter. She is one tough cookie.
