On our first full day (last Tuesday), we had a morning coach outing to the Cotswolds, travelling through several villages, and stopping off here at the delightful Broadway in Worcestershire. Many of the buildings date back to the 1600s, when it was a major stopping place for the stage coaches that travelled between Worcester and London. It's been the inspiration to a number of writers and artists, and as well as having art shops, it also has several of the country's best art galleries. At over a mile long, its 'broad way' (High Street), from where the village gets the name, is one of the longest High Streets in England.
Though, as you can see, the weather was grey and overcast, at least it didn't rain! ![]()
Single Raw image processed in Adobe Camera Raw 7, tweaked in Photomatix Pro 4 and Photoshop Elements 11.
Thanks again to everyone for your votes & comments on my previous uploads, it really is appreciated and encouraging.

Unmistakably Cotswolds - honey-coloured stone, chunky roofs.
Love V4, it's my sort of observation...
Moira
This set from Broadway brings back happy memories for us, Trev, as we spent a fortnight nearby in 1991, based in the village of Blockley only a few miles away and up the hill.
We would travel into Broadway every day, spend some time there before setting off for pastures further afield.
I love the colour of that Cotswold stone, the thatching, the colourful shop displays, and here and there the occasional half timbered building: and in summer the gardens and roses round the doorways are beautiful.
Your set has shown off the delights of this national treasure so well, a great advert for the village.
Ronnie.
Every one well worthy of its own upload Trev, a stunning set.

Trev.
Well-composed and well-presented in your inimitable fashion.
I'm surprised that Moira hasn't mentioned her favourite recipes for goose ![]()

What an enchanting series Trev, signalling a 'Must Visit' spot for all we Brits. I trust that you took all of these before you had a few pints in the pub.
A wonderful set, Trev. The Cotswold stone and overcast weather is perfect for your processing, beautiful colours and textures.
Dave
A great set of shots. You really bring the best out of that cotswold stonework. ......Peter

From the wonderful way you present these, Trev, it displays itself as an invitation to all photographers, a "must go to" place.

John
These are all great Trev, your usual fine standard and composition, but it's v4 that I like the most - it's the way I see the world, in little cut outs of a larger whole.
Anne
Good job here Trev, I've seen a lot of complaints about photomatix pro 4 recently but yours seems to be producing the goods, not that you didn't have some imput![]()

We spent 1 night here years back in the caravan site - before I was attached at the hip to a camera - looks like another visit would be good - I particularly like the variety of foods and colours in v3 ![]()
