Well what with everyone uploading lovely autumnal woodland scenes, I thought the (fairly) far north deserved a chance. Not as pretty but it has it's own graphic merits and to be frank, I'm struggling to find the time off work to shoot anything! This was snatched at Pityoulish while I left this month's attached medical student interviewing her long case patient for 30mins. During my afternoon off, I hasten to add ![]()

I too am struggling to shoot much new but in my case b/o the miserable weather.
As you say, the woods here provide a strong graphic component with the ranks of side lit trunks rising from the winter coloured woodland grasses, and the diagonal slope of the woodland floor adding to the effect so well.
Ronnie.
I agree with Ronnie....couldn't have put it better myself. A lovely shot and the light is luscious.

I used to read the Broons every week in the Sunday Post but never twigged that it was just your strange way of pronouncing 'brown' ![]()

This is a lovely composition of verticals and diagonals, with the added beauty of the golden broon and dappled shadows on the trunks.
