Chipmunk photographed in the late evening light at Bryce Canyon in the state of Utah in USA. Just loved the way he (she) paused briefly during searching for food long enough for me to take the photograph with the chipmunk framed against this old dead tree trunk. The orange colour in the background is the natural colour of the rock in Bryce Canyon.

Some lovely colours, textures and detail that all fit together. The gap in the trunk has framed the chipmunk just right.

Superb, Stuart. Framed in the space, gorgeous light and sharp where it matters. Ron.

Don't they have wonderful colours there in Bryce, it makes such a good background, even blurred it still looks good. But I also love the setting here with the wood, the position and pose of the chipmunk, which you captured with great detail by the way, and in lovely light. Subject has been very well framed, too.
