Although I've taken many photos of this location, yesterday was the first time we'd been there when the heather was out.

The flowering Heather makes a womderful f/g feature and base to the image, Sue: and it's presence tells that summer is almost over and autumn beckons.

Can't beat a good picture of the Stob. Love the heather adding the colour in the foreground.

Nice to see you uplaoding again, Sue, and what a beauty this is Smile A great composition, with wonderful colours of the heather, love those little waterfalls, and it's got quite a dramatic sky too. This has to be my Fave of the Day, and I'm just going to have to part with my UA here! Wink

A beautiful landscape Sue, the heather makes this one different from the norm. It makes a refreshing change to see this scene without snow and frost on the ground
