Thought I'd try a mono version of one of the shots I took on a very soggy Christmas Day in Glen Coe.

The B and W conversion enhances the moody atmosphere, Sue.

Now this is very good, Sue. It oozes danger, threats and forboding. Not at all inviting, yet at the same time irrisistable.

The misty generates a wonderfully haunting mood which is exaggerated by the mono processing.

Moody looking beauty as befits Glencoe! Reading today 4 killed in an avalanche and one seriously injured. A place of dramatic beauty and not to be messed with!

The location of a tragic event yesterday Sue. They stand as sentinels, seen here in cloaked in secrecy.

Ann and Ron, Yes, it was very sad. Just glad I wasn't working this weekend or I'd have probably had to go down there today.

I do so like your colour uploads, Sue, but this mono conversion works well, and really conveys the dark, moody weather conditions that day Wink

Superb. The mountain mist does it for me.

Nice shot sue, been to this location some years ago but the mountain was covered in cloud. With bleak weather as shown it works really well in B/W. Well done. Smile
