It's that famous Glen Coe mountain again Smile

Took this image straight into the sun in October of last year and was never happy with the colour version that I processed at the time so returned to try it in mono and am much happier with the result.

That is very dramatic and the mono really captures that.

This B and W version works very well with there being a good range of tones and contrast, the whole sitting comfortably within the square format, Sue. Compositionally so good, of course.

Remove the tree to give an even bleaker look, and this could be an illustration for the book 'Yhe Lost World', Sue.
Works so very well with the treatment you have rendered here.
