I took a close up of this waste ground Buddleia and it only had a small area in focus so tried to hide it with cropping and making it a canvas.

Needs a butterfly on it Keith, but there appear to be so few about.....We've a bush in our garden, plenty of moths on it at night, but as yet I haven't seen one butterfly on it during the day......Things really are that bad this year. Sad

Yes Ade it what they call a B***** washout !!
Does this mean that even if it happens to be a decent summer next year there will still be hardly any about.Will it take some time for them to recover ?
I think I have only seen about 10 in total all year.
Found a patch of stingers with about 30 White's caterpillars on it the other evening so at least that's something.
