Quick and busy. Flitting from blossom to blossom. Glad to see modern chemistry has not reduced their numbers much around here on Vancouver Island BC Canada.

Paul.
It's very pleasing to get your kind comments. There have been some heart stopping macros around here lately, so to rank at all is very encouraging...Thanks so much. TG
No bumble bees in Australia?? Well, one learns new stuff every day. Got stung once on the shoulder while driving....Very painful but very rare too. My fault. Driving too fast. TG
Thanks for the GE award. Standards are very high here so this means real progress for me. TG
Great stuff, TG, so sharp. wish i could do macro like that! But will keep trying. I don't quite get the awards yet, but congrats!
Good sharp macro. Bees are such interesting creatures. Congrats on receiving the award.
Michelle, I didn't mean to compare so much as to share the differences and the essential power of sunlight. I was surprised the zoom lens could do this and I have done a few flowers too. Also your macro detail is super and it is only the low light that keeps it from sparkling. I have had many bird shots fail due only for lack of good light. TG
