This field of wheat was taken on the fertile farmland of the Yorkshire Wolds. I was particularly taken with the colour and textures of the crop.

Thanks for all the C&C's on my last upload from the Hull Real Ale and Cider Festival at Holy Trinity church.

Best wishes,
Philip

A cracker Philip. I love that low POV. It gives so much more impact to the shot.

Great pov, Philip, putting the emphasis on the shapes, patterns and tones of the wheat. A really effective image, and very well captured.

I like your angle, and the tone of green. It does indeed appear to have the potential to be a bumper crop, although its at the flowering stage which means there is still time for things to go wrong. Here we dread frosts at this stage as they can stop the grain from developing.
