Nipped off to see this megalith between gigs....

It's impossible to convey the magnitude of this thing - it's the architecture equivalent of the Grand Canyon.

You look up and it just keeps going on and on and on... to over 2700 feet.

Its higher than both world trade centre towers on top of each other!!!

Anyway - this is from where the cab driver dropped me at about 2PM - the 30 acre pond in front houses the world's biggest fountain display

alas never got any sunset shots as we were playing at the Madinat Theatre around that time
