V3 reminds me a little of "How many people can you fit into a telephone box", though in this case it's Burnet Moths onto a Knapweed flower! An amazing and colourful set. Like them all.

I reckon there's something in the water (or air) where you live, Ed, what with the numbers in v's 3 and 4. Great captures, never seen so many together on one plant!
Dave.

The hot weather for several weeks in June really brought the butterflies out over here, Rodborough Common in Stroud and the butterfly reserve on the edge of Cleeve Hill were teaming with huge numbers of marbled whites, skippers, ringlets, burnet moths and meadow browns at this time.

A lovely set of shots, Ed, each of which could have been the leader, V1. Very difficult to pick a favourite so I will not try.
Ronnie.

Version 3 looks like an orgy, the seventh one must have been unlucky Wink
some amazing shots here, I wonder why they are so attracted to knapweed, all very interesting and very well captured.
