One from a few months back, and surprise surprise for me a cloudscape - a welling cumulonimbus seen from I think somewhere near Ballyvaughan

Thanks for looking, all comments and critique welcome as always

**AS THE CUMULONIMBUS IS OFTEN CONSIDERED THE KING OF THE CLOUDS, I'M USING THIS AS THE INAUGURAL PIC OF THE "CLOUDS AND CLOUDSCAPES" GROUP..

PS not sure yet how the group thing works, I'm uploading this here as well till I work out how things work...enjoy either way

A fascinating sky, with the dark cloud against the bright of the rising power of the cumulonimbus. Some cropping from the FG would give the clouds more prominence.

Stephen, you take me back to a holiday more than 30 years ago, to a magical landscape which you have captured so well here. Limestone (?) and clouds, with sea... excellent.

yay Melanie, you'd fit in well in the Clouds and Cloudscapes group...cheers Smile

@ Mike..
yes Mike Limestone. the Burren is a limestome karst, (so I'm told) and quite rare as such in that it meets the sea. A very barren landscape on the surface, but extremely fertile in the cracks between the rocks, and a magical mysterious, at times lunar, landscape.
