Taken last Saturday morning during a visit to Bushy Park (amazing place) and first time during the rutting season. Loads of photographers out and great to spend time with some of them. Quite tricky for me to get the right position to photograph the deer. I found it either too bright or too dark. I think my lack of experience shows. I hope to get back again in about a week or so but if I don't I will be back again next year.

'lack of experience' ??
there is no evidence here to suggest that you are anything but a full-time pro. the dark Stag against the lighter background and the f4 at 500mm makes the subject jump off the 'page', just enough light to see the face/eye. fabulously composed. i unexpectingly opened the image from the thumbnail and nearly took my eye out on the antlers.
