Between showers........... stood in waterproofs, wellies and under an umbrella, waiting for a bit of light..........and eventually I got some... patience or stubbornness? Its a close call between the two Smile

Good image with lots going for it Jeanie - everything leads to the lined trees in the centre and the foreground is well chosen. And definitely patience, difficult to exercise when we live in such a fast paced society now. Well done!

Regards,
Barney

Thank you Deep, Ron, Jim and Barney.. Smile

Pete.. Thank you very much for the HC Smile

I did get a few odd looks from passing motorists because it was pickling it down most of the time I was stood there.. hence the attire.... but I was on holiday and in no rush... Grin

Nowt new there then Wink

Nic bit of light there, I wonder if it would have paid off to have put a zoom lens on and pulled it all in a little more Smile

I did get a closer image Chris (yet to upload) but not all trees lit on that one. I never had a chance to change lenses and get a closer shot at this because the light was very (!) fleeting.. Smile

I'll go with stubborn Jeanie and why not if you get the result you got here. That light on the line of trees is very special indeed. Lovely colour and a great composition with the reflection in the lake. Stubborn maybe just keep it up if it works this well.

Actually the thumbnail does not do this justice. Until you enlarge it you dont really see that beautiful light catching the famous line of trees.
Superbly composed as usual Jeanie.

I love that little bit of light on the foreground grasses, which seems to add extra depth to the image - beautifully composed with lovely detail and tones. I'd call it determination Jeanie Smile
