From the eastern shore of Buttermere looking South towards Fleetwith Pike on a still cloudy evening the reflections were mirror perfect. The light wasn't great but there wasn't a breath of wind. I've reprocessed this shot over and over again and still not happy with it but I'll publish it anyway to get your views.

Lovely image, I love the comp, fg, and detail. In my opinion, the thing that appears a little odd is the sky, A bit too purply maybe?

Thanks Diane, I agree, I was never happy with the sky, it was such a dull grey day and perhaps I've overdone it in post-processing. I will definitely be going back to this location again and hope for better light and more interesting sky.

Glad you found my comment helpfulSmile..... You could try adjusting the hue of the sky, maybe take out some magenta, and blue to make it just grey.... that way it will blend with the colour of the reflection in the water.

Just done this and looks much better, already had a graduated filter in Lightroom so just had to tweak the colour balance.I'll try and post an update but looks like I have to upgrade to e2 membership first!?

I think if you allow modifications you would be able to upload a mod yourself as a variation..... I think.

Had a look and seems to be an e2 option, looks like a good reason to upgrade!!
