I think a different colour on the background, contrasting the white-ish figures might made given a punch to the colours of the dolls.

I think you are totally right. I kinda just started having a bit of fun with the figures on the dining room table, I didn't really expect it to become what it did. I kind of got caught up in the moment, took a couple of pics of Buzz then before you know it I am drawing on eggs and sewing the rabbits paws to her eyes! I guess that is what is SO fab about photography, the opportunity to get lost in something for a space of time, totally enjoyable
