Black Rock in Derbyshire is a wonder of the Industrial Age. Lead mining was its main operation which has long since gone. As you walk along to Middleton Top up to High Peak Junction you can see various artifacts from its heritage such as this old engine by the side of the start of the Middleton Incline.
The last train to run on the old line was on 30th April 1967.
