...a bit of extra effort with the colours, contrast blending and some dodging & burning, and here we are. I'm pleased with the result it remains to be seen whether you do.

I agree with the comments about the sky, especially the top right corner, it's a side effect when you use the clarity slider I will be more careful with it's use in future, maybe use it in steps, watch this space.

I rather like the slight vignetting, it gives the stones a theatrical presence, enhances their drama.

It'll do for me, too, Dougie. Not a place I know (one day...) but I have the distinct feeling that, while there is nobody to be seen, it has a thousand presences all the time.

It does feel like that Bill, the 3 of us were well spaced across this area and it was very quiet, you can talk yourself into feeling watched, who knows? But it is there.

Superb Dougie, a little dark around the edges, nevertheless its a cracker.
Can't see it large but this moody sky really suits the setting. Very striking shot.
