Another Glendevon image
Great composition here Rod great range of tones and has a fine atmospheric feel to it if anything I would have cloned out the two wee bladed on the third turbine other than that magic
Rod no kidding that is an absolute bloody knockout. Blinder my son. Got to be one of your very best ever, in every respect, content/composition/processing/the lot.
Edit: Agree with above re third turbine.
Cheers boys i don't think i can clone I spotted that masel so i must be learning lol but don't know how to clone . Cheers Alan those are kind words fae the dark lord indeed
Nice shot and good lighting
Some people might hate them but the wind turbines are so powerful in this image (pun not intended). Excellent composition, Rod.
This is excellent Rod !! Really a superb capture !
OH YES!!. superb shot Rod. Great atmosphere. nice that you can make a thing of beauty out of these things. perfect exposure. i think alan is right maybe your best ever.my only suggestion would be to take out the telegraph lines in the foreground,or cropping out above them dont know if that would make a stronger image
I agree with all the comments above, Rod: a superb image, so atmospheric with the mist rolling around and the B and W presentation is excellent.
Whilst these turbines are now part of the landscape here, they do not add anything of beauty and for me spoil the visual beauty of the area.
Other contributors above don't seem to feel that from the remarks posted.
Not long back I posted images from Eaglesham Moor where there are over 200 of them: that Moor is rather bleak and in that situation I felt they actually enhanced the landscape, but I don't feel the same about here in this beauty spot.
That is not to detract in nay way from your shot........you have depicted and presented things as they were at the time of day beautifully.
Totally agree, this is a fantastic image.
Looks like a scene from `War of the Worlds'..peaceful farmstead unaware of the danger approaching
One day I would hope to take photo's like that, must take a long time to be as good as you! love it, Camellia.
Wonderful b&w scene here.
Absolute stunner Rod,Looks fantastic
All being said about cloning and such,if you can do that, you have a fantastic image that would grace any wall.
it is still a cracker Rod.
I love the 'beauty and beast' thing you've got going on here Rod....an image with impact and very nicely processed.
An image which is made up from the finest photographic ingredients, blended perfectly and cooked to perfection Rod.
awards well deserved Rod
Just one thing to do Rod, super image
Well chosen foreground interest. Wisps of mist superb. It's strange how the oft cursed windmills have enhanced the scene.
Beautiful tones and composition Rod; strong B&W image!
Un manejo excelente de las lineas. Felicitaciones.
Just how a remember Glendevon but withoot the artificial wind machines on the hill ....... have yea noticed how since they erected awe them wind turbines we're gettin mair strang winds and gales !!!

In spite of the b***** windmills - don't like our Scottish landscapes littered with them.

Rod, I'm sorry that I missed these, I thought I had connected to your profile, but obviously hadn't. To quote Alan it's bloody knockout and had I seen it on the day would have given my UA too. It really is a genuinely fantastic shot, and I love it!
