Great composition here Rod great range of tones and has a fine atmospheric feel to it if anything I would have cloned out the two wee bladed on the third turbine other than that magic

Rod no kidding that is an absolute bloody knockout. Blinder my son. Got to be one of your very best ever, in every respect, content/composition/processing/the lot.

Edit: Agree with above re third turbine.

Some people might hate them but the wind turbines are so powerful in this image (pun not intended). Excellent composition, Rod.

OH YES!!. superb shot Rod. Great atmosphere. nice that you can make a thing of beauty out of these things. perfect exposure. i think alan is right maybe your best ever.my only suggestion would be to take out the telegraph lines in the foreground,or cropping out above them dont know if that would make a stronger imageGrinGrin

I agree with all the comments above, Rod: a superb image, so atmospheric with the mist rolling around and the B and W presentation is excellent.
Whilst these turbines are now part of the landscape here, they do not add anything of beauty and for me spoil the visual beauty of the area.
Other contributors above don't seem to feel that from the remarks posted.
Not long back I posted images from Eaglesham Moor where there are over 200 of them: that Moor is rather bleak and in that situation I felt they actually enhanced the landscape, but I don't feel the same about here in this beauty spot.
That is not to detract in nay way from your shot........you have depicted and presented things as they were at the time of day beautifully.
Ronnie.
