The famous Camargue Horses that we see usually running at the photographers are to be found grazing freely in this enviroment. The Guardians ( Camargue cowboys ) round them up for shoots but generally they are used to give riders the chance to explore the Camargue on horseback. There was no chance of me seeing this event ( done on photographic tours ) so I searched for them where I could.
Here the light of the setting sun taken contr'e jour with all that dust has paid off !! I took plenty of images that you will see over the next weeks.

The rim lighting is so effective, especially with dusty misty b/g, Ron: lovely use of lighting.
Ronnie.
(PS......by the way, I'm Ron too, not Dougie, although I regard that slip as a compliment......R)![]()

The light and dust are the added magic of this wonderful area of France, bring them on Ron.
Dougie
Sunlight filtered through dust, so very evocative.
