The choir stalls in King's College Chapel, Cambridge. Three shots merged in photomatix and tweaked in ps.

It's a wonderful place - fan vaulted roof, huge stained glass windows - so I purposefully took along my tripod to ensure some good shots; only to be told at the door, no tripods allowed. Therefore this was a sneaky triple using a pocket tripod balanced on a barrier post. Even so I was spotted by an eagle-eyed porter and given a finger-wagging rebuke. Still, if you're going to be chastised, I can't think of a nicer place !

Thanks for looking and please view large for extra churchy detail.

If that's the rule, presumably no objection to a monopod?? Very well done.

What's this thing about tripods? Unless they trip someone up, they're not exactly lethal weapons! Anyway, a lovely image, David, and beautifully captured and processed...must be viewed large.

Tremendous detail here Dave.
And had to look up ''chastised'' in the dictionary.
I thought it was that something else, that would have been FAR worse and FAR more painful !!
Mick.

Superb image Dave - a lovely diagonal of arches - not an obvious HDR.
Worth a finger wag.Wink
Brian.

I have to be honest Dave and say that I was underwhelmed by the small version, but when I viewed the large all was truly revealed. Funny how some shots really come alive with detail when seen that way... Dave

impressive!

If you're going to do this sort of stuff Dave, you'll HAVE to get a 10-20!! This is perhaps not the best of angles, but you were pretty restricted so obviously the best you could do. The hdr is coming along nicely. Smile
